Our exquisitely designed oceanfront rooms have hard wood floors and offer a panoramic view of Saco Bay. They are approximately 50 square feet more spacious than our ocean view rooms. Located on the second floor, these guest rooms with wet bar, have a king bed. Whether you sit by the cozy gas fireplace and watch the waves rolling over the sand, or perhaps indulge with a relaxing jacuzzi tub, the luxurious accommodations coupled with the breathtaking view is sure to guarantee a perfect romantic getaway with that special someone.
Our first floor oceanfront rooms are identical in size and are designed specifically for the needs of a family. These rooms offer two double beds, an activity table, and all of the basic amenities found in all of our guestrooms, including refrigerator and microwave and full bath with shower.
Our ocean view guest rooms offer a beautiful vista of the Atlantic and of the Wood Island Lighthouse in the distance. First floor guest rooms have hard wood floors, most are equipped with two double beds, and they are located in close proximity to the pool. They are ideal for families with small children.
The second floor rooms are carpeted and offer either a king sized bed with a day bed or two double beds. These guest rooms offer a more dramatic view of the ocean and some have an additional small balcony from the back of the room giving our guests yet another ocean view.
Our kitchenette rooms are located on the first floor. They are larger than our ocean view rooms, and all have 2 full-sized beds. The small kitchen area features a breakfast bar area for dining and a compact kitchen, which includes 2 electric burners, a small microwave and a refrigerator. A starter set of pots & pans along with utensils and dishes is also provided. Of course, the kitchen rooms have a pleasing décor and include all of the features and amenities offered in all of our other guest rooms, however, they do not offer an ocean view. For larger families, we do have two kitchen rooms that are adjoining.
The Edgewater has two 1-bedroom suites that will each accommodate a maximum of 6 people. The master bedroom holds two full-sized beds. The separate, but adjoining room has a small sitting area, a second cable TV, and a futon, which opens into a full-sized bed.
There is also a small compact kitchen with a breakfast bar area, and of course, a full bath with shower. Although our suites do not offer an ocean view, they are located near our sundeck area which offers a great view of the water.
Our very popular 2-bedroom apartment
is located on the first floor. This stylish apartment features a fully applianced kitchen, including full stove with oven, full-sized refrigerator /freezer, and a dishwasher. A dining bar seats four. The kitchen also comes equipped with dishes, cookware, utensils, etc. A very attractive living area with cable TV and full-sized futon sofa that can sleep two is open to this kitchen area. The master bedroom holds a king-sized bed, has cable TV and a small private deck for morning coffee. The second bedroom has 2 twin beds, and large closet space. The bathroom includes a lovely vanity area with two pedestal sinks, plus a full bath and shower.This accommodation is perfect for a family vacation with all the comforts of home
Our standard rooms feature two double beds and are slightly larger than our ocean view rooms. They have the same attention to décor and comfort as do our other guest rooms and include other amenities such as double pedestal sinks.
In addition, some of these units also include Jacuzzi tubs and two are adjoining rooms. Although this room category does not offer an oceanview, they are located on the second floor in close proximity to our sundeck area.
